Alicia was raised in Virginia, Minnesota. She graduated from Virginia High School. After completing law school, she returned to Virginia to practice law alongside her father, John Cope, and other family members.

Alicia currently resides in Virginia with her husband, Brent Robinson. Together, they raised four very active children, all of whom are now adults. Outside of the office, Alicia enjoys spending time with her family and is deeply grateful for northern Minnesota, the people who live here, and the opportunity to live, work, and raise a family on the Iron Range.
